Monkey Sanctuary Trust is a unique environmental charity dedicated to:

monkey welfare, including the welfare, conservation and survival of primates, particularly woolly monkeys and capuchin monkeys.
monkey welfare, including Working to end the primate and monkey trade and abuse of primates and monkeys in captivity.
Conserving natural habitats of woolly and capuchin monkeys through education and sustainable living.
monkey rescue, including promoting the rehabilitation of rescued woolly and capuchin monkeys and primates to natural habitats.

From only £2 a month or £24 a year, you can help The Monkey Sanctuary Trust offer a safe and happy home for the many monkeys who need our care.

The Trust also helps and supports rescue centres around the world, such as Siglo XXI in Chile, and supports other vital conservation projects. You too can help with our adopt a monkey scheme, perhaps adopt a monkey for yourself or adopt a monkey as a unique gift for a friend

(If you would like to choose one of our other monkeys for adoption, there is more individual information at Our Residents). If you would to like help these and others in need please complete the 'adopt a monkey' adoption form and send it to us.

Adopt a monkey - If you are adopting a monkey as a gift for a particular occasion, please mark this on the form so that we can start the adoption from the date and avoid spoiling the suprise with a mailing. Adopt a Monkey

By adopting a monkey through Wild Futures Monkey Sanctuary, you will not only be helping to provide a safe home for life to a monkey in need, but you will be supporting the conservation of native habitats and thus helping to provide a safe home for life for wild monkeys too!

The Wild Futures Monkey Sanctuary in Cornwall is currently home to 24 monkeys, most of whom have been rescued directly from inappropriate homes in the UK.

Joey

Joey, for example, is a capuchin monkey who was taken from the wild as a baby and kept in a small cage for 9 years. He had no space to climb, no access to natural light and no company for 23 hours a day. As a result, Joey's bones didn't develop properly and he is now permanently disabled. He has suffered severe mental trauma and used to rock backwards and forwards obsessively in his little cage. Joey was rescued in 2007 and now lives with his friend, Kodak, at The Monkey Sanctuary. He has learned to climb and play and, most importantly, has monkey friends for the first time in his life. By adopting a monkey today, you will be securing a safe home for life for more monkeys like Joey.

You can choose to support any of the individuals currently living at The Monkey Sanctuary in Cornwall, or you can opt to help a monkey in need overseas. 10% of income generated through the Adopt a Monkey scheme is guaranteed to be donated to primate conservation projects in South America. Frosty

Adopters receive: a personalised certificate, a picture of their adopted monkey, the adopted monkey’s personal history sheet, a species factsheet, car sticker; newsletter updates, and a free pass to The Monkey Sanctuary in Cornwall.
